Caldecott Award winners
The Library has copies of ALL the books that have been awarded the Caldecott Medal, from 1938 forward. They are shelved within the Juvenile section of our collection, on the ground floor of the Library. You can search for these books by using the search phrase "Caldecott Medal" in the search bar -- this will bring up both Medal winners and honors. Most Caldecott books also have the Caldecott medal sticker on them, making them easy to identify on the shelf.
"The Caldecott Medal was named in honor of nineteenth-century English illustrator Randolph Caldecott. It is awarded annually by the Association for Library Service to Children, a division of the American Library Association, to the artist of the most distinguished American picture book for children."

The JUVENILE Collection at Dacus Library
Dacus Library has thousands of juvenile fiction and non-fiction titles. The Juvenile Collection is located on the Ground Floor.
All of the resources have a call number that begins with JUV, so you can narrow your search in the catalog by using nu:JUV to confine your search to just juvenile materials. For example, for titles related to Mark Twain in the juvenile collection, type "twain AND nu:JUV" in the search box.
