Finding Resources
Are you in need of specific resources that are not available through the catalogs of Dacus Library and other PASCAL-affiliated institutions? If the answer is YES, log in to or create your free Interlibrary Loan account; this will enable you to place a Copy Request if you need a journal article or a chapter from a book, and / or a Loan Request if you need a book, DVD, or other physical media.
Fun Fact → Over the past 5 years, on average, Dacus Library's ILL Department has overseen a 93% fill rate.
How Long Does It Take?
Copy requests — which include book chapters and journal articles, delivered electronically — take anywhere between 1 hour to 5 business days to arrive. Loan requests — which include physical items such as books, DVDs, microform, etc., delivered via the United States Postal System — take anywhere between 7 to 14 business days to arrive.
Due Dates and Renewals
The lending library sets the due date, and due dates vary from one library to the next. If you need to renew a loan, please let us know before the due date on the book strap. Renewals are at the discretion of the lending library and are not guaranteed. If the lending library is unable to renew, we will request another copy from a different library.
