This guide provides answers to frequently asked questions about Dacus Library's operations during Winthrop University's COVID-19 Response.

Dacus Library Personal Delivery  

Personal delivery of library materials is now available to Winthrop students, faculty and staff who live 15 or more miles from campus! 

*Requests placed December 22-January 3, 2020 will be processed beginning January 4, 2021*

Materials Request:

  • Verify your distance from campus using the Google Maps Distance Finder.  Your location must be 15 miles or more from campus to request delivery.
  • Pull down the arrow under Pickup Location and select Home Address 
  • Enter your preferred shipping address in the comments section: 

Book request form with pickup location drop down menu with Home Address selected, and a comment field filled in with "Please sent to 1234 Main St." There is a green arrow and Send Request icon at the bottom of the form. 

Terms of Use:

  • Users may request up to three (3) items at a time. 
  • The library pays outgoing shipping fees.
  • Borrowers are responsible for:
    • Return shipping fees 
    • Verifying and providing correct shipping information
    • Returning library materials on time and in good condition
    • All costs for replacement or damage to library materials.
