Women's History Month

March is Women's History Month!

Originally celebrated as Women's History Week beginning in 1981, since 1987, March as been designated as Women's History Month through a series of Congressional resolutions and Presidential proclamations. These actions honor the contributions and achievements of women throughout the history of the United States.

The 19th Amendment
