What is Plagiarism?

  • Passing off someone else's work as your own, either verbatim or paraphrased is plagiarism.​
  • Plagiarism can be intentional or unintentional.​
  • Plagiarism is stealing other people's ideas and works, and intellectual theft is a serious form of academic dishonesty.​
