Searching the catalog

Library resources can be found in OneSearch in a number of different ways. Check out the Introduction tab for tips & tricks for searching, including the difference between a keyword and subject search, and using operators to improve results.

Author/Creator - Find works by or about a specific person with a phrase search. For example, "aaron copland" or "mozart, wolfgang amadeus"

Title - Searching with a title phrase will find a specific work or works. For example, "the nutcracker suite" or "four seasons" vivaldi. 

Subject - There are numerous subject headings for music education topics, including:

Music in education Music--Instruction and study--Research
Music, Influence of Music teachers--Training of
Music--Instruction and study School music--Instruction and study
Music--Instruction and study--Case studies Special education--Music

To find books in other South Carolina college and university libraries:     

  • Type your search into the OneSearch search box
  • In one of the drop-down menus select PASCAL Libraries
