Book Search Tips

When looking for books by an author, do an Author/Creator search. When looking for books about an author, do a Subject search.

For instance, here's an example of an Author/Creator search for Toni Morrison:

Notice that the results list books by Toni Morrison.

Conversely, here's an example of a Subject search for Toni Morrison:

Notice that the results list books about Toni Morrison and her writing.

 

Using OneSearch

Dacus Library has both physical books and ebooks available for use! You can find both through OneSearch.

Once you've started a search, you can find a physical book by selecting "Held by library" under the Availability dropdown menu; alternatively, you can find ebooks by selecting "Available online" from the same dropdown menu.
