To locate books that Dacus Library owns, OneSearch is the first resource you should use. You can search the catalog using author, title, subject or keyword. Please keep in mind that Dacus Library cannot mail books to your home. In order to check out a physical book, you will need to come into the library.
If you do not find the item you want in Dacus Library, there are other options. First, you can check the Pascal Delivers catalog to see if the book is available in another South Carolina college or university. If it is, you can request that the book be delivered to Dacus Library for you to pick it up. If you do not live near Winthrop University, PASCAL's Pick-Up Anywhere service can help. You can request an item via PASCAL Delivers and have it sent to the college or university (in South Carolina) closest to you.
Also, if we do not own the item you need and it is not available through Pascal Delivers, you can request it through Interlibrary Loan. Be aware that when you order books through Interlibrary Loan, it can take up to 10 days to receive the materials.
