JSTOR Archival Journal and Primary Sources This link opens in a new window
JSTOR is the "scholarly journal archive." A non-profit cooperative project of university libraries, JSTOR has converted the contents of over 4,000 core journals in academic disciplines into electronic form.
Artstor images are now incorporated into JSTOR. More information on this is available on their website. Instructional videos can be found on their YouTube channel.

Full-text access to articles in the New York Times, from 1853-the current issue.

For full text access to The New York Times you must set up an Academic Pass account using your valid Winthrop University email address. If you already have a separate personal account, you still need to establish a new/different account using your Winthrop University email address. Click here to create an account. If you get a phishing warning, click the link to continue to the requested website.

Student passes are valid until December of your graduation year.

Faculty/staff passes are valid for 1456 days, after which you can re-register your account.

Art Index is an art research database providing high-quality indexing for hundreds of national and international art journals, plus thousands of art dissertations. The index covers fine, decorative and commercial art, as well as photography, film and architecture.

Artstor is a digital library containing over 2 million images with high quality metadata from catalogers, curators, institutions, and artists. Artstor's tools support a wide range of uses including: viewing and analyzing images through features such as zooming and panning, saving groups of images online for personal or shared uses, and creating and delivering presentations both online and offline.
Artstor images are now incorporated into JSTOR. More information on this is available on their website. Instructional videos can be found on their YouTube channel.
