Interior Design: Search Strategies

Finding books, ebooks, films, and more:

• Searching the library catalog by Interior Design by keyword is the most general way to start. You'll get a mix of books, films, and other materials from the library catalog.
• This “interior design” search is a good starting point, but misses the more specialized aspects. For those, the additional search terms on the right provide more specific terminologies.

Tip: search terms like these are also useful for finding articles in the library’s online databases.

• Building code* (* is wildcard symbol. Adding * at the end of the word brings up “building code”, “building codes”)

• Historic preservation (to narrow down your search results, use the "Topics" choices on your left, for example "Architecture")
