A project by the Carnegie Museum of Art that is working to streamline provenance research, transforming provenance records into more easily searchable data.

Three databases may be searched: Archival Documents (1550-1840), Sale Catalogs (1650-1840), Public Collections (1500-1990). Short description of document types, geographic coverage, etc. is included for each database.

The Menil Archives identifies, preserves, and administers institutional records of research value to the Menil Foundation and the Menil Collection.
