(Archived Aug. 2021) Return to Learn: Library Services during COVID-19

This guide provides answers to frequently asked questions about Dacus Library's operations during Winthrop University's COVID-19 Response.

We encourage you to reach out to us with any questions you may have! Librarians are available for virtual reference assistance Monday-Thursday 9am-7pm, Friday 10am-12pm, and Sunday 2pm-7pm.

You can get research help in a variety of ways...

  • by chatting online with a reference librarian
  • by emailing a reference librarian at refdesk@winthrop.edu
  • by making a Book-a-Librarian appointment -- the library's Book-a-Librarian service is for students, faculty, or staff who need one-on-one assistance with research. See our Virtual Book-a-Librarian page for more information about how online appointments will work with screen sharing technology.

Winthrop students have access to a wide array of library resources, services and research assistance. The Main Floor of Dacus Library building is now open, but we encourage you to use the links below for information about how to access our electronic resources.
