Accounting: Search Strategies

Searching the library catalog by Accounting is the most general way to start. You'll get a mix of books, films, and other materials from the library catalog. See keyword and subject searches for examples.

• Accounting - as keyword search, this search is very broad and includes financial as well as cost and managerial accounting.

• "Financial statement*" – Phrase in "quotation marks" searches the words together as a phrase, not separate words. Ending with * picks up “statement” and “statements”

• "Mark to market" – Phrase in "quotation marks" searches the words together as a phrase, not separate words.

Subject searches will show you related search terms, to help you drill down to specific topics.
