Finding Books in the Library

Use the Dacus Online Catalog (DOC) to find books in the library on your topic.  You can do a "Subject" search by topic (e.g., "Art-Study and teaching"; "Art therapy"; Art History"; etc.), style, medium, etc.

To find books about a particular artist, search DOC by subject using the artist's last name, first name.

To find the works of a particular artist, search DOC by author using the artist's last name, first name.

Women Artists


To find a list of masters theses done at Winthrop, go to the Advanced Search, do a keyword search for "Winthrop University" and select "Thesis/dissertations" from the content filter.

You can then modify the results by author, title, and/or subject.
